Candida Coulson

Co-Founder/ Major Impact Coach


Attended Arizona State University from 1998-2002, where she competed in track and field for all four years. Candida was the top hurdler for ASU and she qualified every year for the PAC-10 Championships in the hurdles,400m and the 1600 relay. She also went on to compete at the NCAA championships in both indoors and outdoors for three years, in which she earned All-American honors. Coulson was on the Honors Dean's list for all four years and graduated with academic honors with a degree in Communications.  Candida was a standout athlete throughout her High School career, where she earned several state championships in 400m, 300 hurdles, and 1600m relay in which were record breaking performances.  She currently holds her high school record in all three events and is still ranked in top ten on Georgia all-time list. Candida coached the boys and girls track program at Milton and Brookwood High School for six years where she had numerous regional and state qualifiers. In addition, She went on to coach the Men and Women Track and Field team at Georgia State for two seasons. She had numerous conference qualifiers and champions. Additionally, she had several regional qualifiers, and NCAA qualifier. Candida has been running a personal training business for 7 years and has helped assisted several athletes in achieving athletic scholarships to division 1 programs.  Coulson is Level 1 and GHSA Certified.


Samantha Gary

Co-Founder/ Major Impact Coach


Samantha attended the University of Tennessee, Knoxville , where she majored in Sports Management along with a Business minor. She was part of the Lady Vols Track and Field program, where she competed with a track scholarship for four years. Samantha also recieved academic honors as part of the Dean�s list. She also attended Roswell High School where she still holds the 100 meter, 200 meter, and 4x400 meter record. Coach Sam have also coached high school track and field for the past nine years at Brookwood, Milton and currently at North Gwinnett High School ,where they were numerous state and regional qualifiers . In the 2009 track season Milton High school boys were able to clinched the regional track and field championship. Samantha has ran a speed workout program over the past ten years, which has helped athletes in achieving their goals and getting the opportunity to compete at the collegiate level with athletic scholarships. Coach Sam has had alot of success since starting the Major Impact Program with National qualifiers and  All Americans Athletes.  Coach Sam is very proud of this program and hopes to continue on in guiding the kids in accomplishing their goals.  Samantha is GHSA ceritfied, First Aid and CPR trained. Samantha is married to Willie Gary and has three kids together Dylan,Victoria and Averie.


 





Willie Gary

Co-Founder/ Major Impact Coach


Willie attended the University of Kentucky where he majored in Finance. Willie was a four-year starter in football where he received All-American honors as well as All-SEC honors. Willie furthered his football career by playing for the St. Louis Rams earning a NFC championship ring as well as a successful career with the Georgia Force. (Arena Football league) Willie just completed his second year coaching with North Gwinnett High School earning their first region championship in football. Willie also develops speed and agility programs for the North Gwinnett High School football program where he brings invaluable knowledge. Coach Gary also currently coaches the for Georgia Force (Arena Football League).  Willie attended Valdosta High School where he was a first-team All-State selection for football and competed in the state finals in track every year in 4 x100, 4x400, 300m hurdles, and 110m hurdles. Willie was born in Valdosta, GA and is married to Samantha Gary with three kids Averie, Victoria, and Dylan. 


Leslie Walker

 


Major Impact Coach/ Trainer


Leslie Walker has a Bachelor's Degree in a Health/Exercise Science from Oakland University in Rochester, Michigan.  She has been working in the Health and Fitness field for 13 yeras.  She is a NSCA certified (National Strength and Conditioning Association) Personal Trainer.   Leslie began coaching professionally at Detroit Skating Club and continued to do so for 10 years until moving to Georgia to take a job as a Wellness Director at an Atlanta YMCA.  She has run boot camps, group fitness classes and kids in motion classes.  She has also taught nutrition classes and seminars to her clients and maintained her individual personal training clients throughout the years.  Leslie maintains her First Aid and CPR Certification through the American Heart Asssociation.
